Bellevue University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS). The NCACS is one of the six regional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
In addition to NCACS accreditation, the College of Business is accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). IACBE is described as a premier accrediting body promulgating quality in the baccalaureate and graduate degree programs in business.

The Higher Learning Commission is part of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The Association was founded in 1895 as a membership organization for educational institutions. It is committed to developing and maintaining high standards of excellence.
The Association is one of six regional institutional accrediting associations in the United States. Through its Commissions it accredits, and thereby grants membership to educational institutions in the nineteen-state North Central region.

Bellevue university is a member of The Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA), a not- for- profit association of university-based educational programs, faculty, practitioners, and provider organizations. Its members are dedicated to continuously improving the field of healthcare management and practice. It is the only non-profit entity of its kind that works to improve the delivery of health services throughout the world - and thus the health of citizens - by educating professional managers at the entry level.
AUPHA provides a central source for students to seek information on the best programs in the world. AUPHA's membership is comprised of the 160 best programs in healthcare management. Membership in AUPHA is tied to the pursuit of program accreditation at the graduate level and undergraduate certification at the bachelor’s degree level. Bellevue university is a member of The American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society of more than 30,000 healthcare executives who lead hospitals, healthcare systems and other healthcare organizations. ACHE is known for its prestigious credentialing and educational programs and its annual Congress on Healthcare Leadership, which draws more than 4,000 participants each year.
