Financial Aid
Students may apply for Financial Aid online. Students who have completed the financial aid process (must be in a file complete status in the school information system) may use their financial aid status to register for classes. Your financial aid must be equal to or greater than their your first payment to qualify.
- Students who register using financial aid which is less than the required first payment will be required to pay the difference at the time of registration.
- If the financial aid does not cover the entire cost, you will be required to pay the remaining balance of your tuition and fees according to the Deferred Payment Plan.
- Once your financial aid is posted to your account, any excess credit will be refunded to you within 14 days.
Military Tuition Assistance
By choosing the Military Tuition Assistance option, you are agreeing to furnish Bellevue University the approved tuition assistance authorization no later than two weeks from the date of this registration.
- Once the tuition assistance is credited to your account, the balance owed (if any) will fall under the policies of the Deferred Payment Plan.
- If Bellevue University does not receive the approved tuition assistance form within two weeks of the date of registration, you will be required to pay the appropriate money due or your registration will be voided.

The corporate tuition option is available for students whose employer agrees to pay Bellevue University directly. The Human Resources office in your company will be able to assist you in completing the forms required by Bellevue University. Contact stuacct@bellevue.edu for the forms and guidelines. If your company supports direct payment, you can choose the Corporate Tuition Assistance option. By selecting this option you are agreeing to furnish Bellevue University Business Office the approved tuition assistance authorization no later than two weeks from the date of registration.

Scholarship Program
The Scholarship program at Bellevue University is designed to recognize outstanding academic achievement by incoming freshmen, transfer students and exceptional scholastic performance by upper-class students already in attendance. Other considerations may include extracurricular activities, personal recommendations and financial need. Scholarship funds are provided through a variety of sources and donors. Special ability scholarships are awarded in selected areas of proficiency such as athletics, art, languages and special projects. Application deadlines are posted on the appropriate applications.
Grants
A grant is a form of federal or state financial aid that does not need to be repaid. They're typically given to people who demonstrate financial need. Grants are amazing sources of financial aid for people with need. Need is determined by filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We highly recommend every prospective college student to fill one of these out--even if you don't qualify for grants, you may receive scholarships or favorable loans.
Payment Options
Deferred Payment Plan
This plan allows a student to pay tuition over several payments. For programs or courses less than 12 weeks in length, two payments are made. For programs 12-16 weeks, three payments are made, and for all programs longer than 16 weeks, tuition and fees will be spread over 4 payments.
- Students who use the Deferred Payment Plan will be charged a 1.25 percent finance charge each month (15 percent annual percentage rate) on the unpaid balance for all charges.
- The finance charge will be computed starting the 20th day of the month in which classes begin and will be charged on the 20th day of each month thereafter on the unpaid balance until the balance is paid in full.
- A late payment fee of $15.00 will be charged on the 20th day of each month if the account is delinquent.
