Dr Christopher Hilton joined West London Mental Health NHS Trust (WLMHT) in 2013 as a Consultant in Liaison Psychiatry, and undertakes clinical work in Ealing and Charing Cross Hospitals.

Chris is the Clinical Lead for Home ward Ealing, an integrated physical health and social care service providing admission avoidance, supported discharge, and rehabilitation interventions for over 5000 older people per year, and which aligns with key aspirations of North West London’s Sustainability and Transformation Plan.

In 2016 he became a member of the Trust Management Team as Director of Business and Strategy, overseeing commercial activities, and interfaces with the STP.

He was named an HSJ “Rising Star” in January 2015.

Dr Hilton’s professional interests include: integrated care, particularly ensuring mental health is embedded in new models of care; novel psychoactive substances; quality improvement and service redesign; and the arts in health.

Chris is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London and a co-opted member of the Liaison Psychiatry Faculty of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
